Six Year program

Prior to Entry into the 2-Year Professional Program

In concurrent Education programs at the Intermediate/Senior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering Honours degree program including all Pre-Professional Program Education requirements (see Concurrent Degree Programs Information for Education requirements)

For students in concurrent Honours bachelor degree programs, 3 FCEs in a second teachable subject will be taken instead of electives in the HBA program, prior to entering the Professional Program. First Year:

(c) Music Performance: Primary I (one FCE)
(d) Music 1318 and 1333
(e) One FCE in English, French or an Indigenous Language
(f) One-half FCE from Type B courses
(g) Education 1050

Second Year:

(a) Music 2314 and 2315
(b) Music 2341
(c) Music Performance: Primary II (one FCE)
(d) Music 2317
(e) Music 2333 and one of: Music 2331, 2332 or 2334
(f) One FCE from Type B courses
(g) One-half FCE elective from Type E courses

Third Year:
(a) Two of: Music 3313, 3316, 3317
(b) Music 3371 and Music 3372 or 3375
(c) Music Performance: Primary III (one FCE) or Music 3800

(e) Music 3333 and one of: Music 3331, 3332 or 3334
