Five Year program

Prior to Entry into the 2-Year Professional Program
In concurrent Education programs at the Primary/Junior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering Honours degree program including all Pre-Professional Program Education requirements (See Concurrent Degree Programs Information for Education requirements)

First Year:
(a) One FCE in Philosophy at the first year level
(b) One-half FCE from Type B courses
(c) One FCE in English, French, or Indigenous Language
(d) One FCE in History
(e) One FCE elective in Science (General Science 1000 recommended) (see Concurrent Education Content Regulations #1, regarding eligible Science courses)
(f) Education 1050

Second Year:
(a) Two FCEs in Philosophy above the first year level
(b) Two and one-half FCE electives (one FCE of which must be from Type B courses) (see Note below concerning Type E course requirement)
(c) Education 2050

Third Year:
(a) Two FCEs in Philosophy above the first year level
(b) One-half FCE in Music or Visual Arts
(c) Two FCE electives
(d) One-half FCE elective in Education (see Electives in the Department of Undergraduate Studies in Education Courses list)
Note: Concurrent Education students should check the timetable for Pre-Professional Program course offerings.

Note: All students must take a one half FCE Indigenous Content Type E course. This may be taken in any year of study and may be taken either as an elective or as part of another program requirement.
