Four year program

First Year:
(a) Outdoor Recreation 1010, 1070, 1150 and 1310

(c) One of: Anthropology 1032 and 1034; Economics 1100; Geography 1150 and 1190; Indigenous Learning 1100; Political Science 1100; Psychology 1100; Sociology 1100
(d) One and one-half FCE electives

Second Year:
(a) Outdoor Recreation 2210, 2270, 2511, 2350, 2755
(b) Two and one-half FCE electives

Third Year:
(a) Outdoor Recreation 3050, 3312, 3370
(b) Two FCEs in Outdoor Recreation at the third year level
(c) One half FCE Outdoor Recreation course at the fourth year level
(d) One FCE electives at the second year level or higher

Fourth Year:
(a) Outdoor Recreation 4370
(b) Two FCEs in Outdoor Recreation at the fourth year level
(c)  One half FCE in Outdoor Recreation at the third or fourth year level
(d) Two FCEs of electives at the second year level or higher

Note: The Indigenous Content Requirement is met by taking Outdoor Recreation 1150.

Four-year Non-Direct Entry program option

Bachelor of Outdoor Recreation 4-year

This program option is for Honours students that are academically ineligible to continue in or complete the Honours program.

The program requirements for the first three years are the same as for the Honours Bachelor of Outdoor Recreation (HBOR) program.  In order to remain in the program, students must maintain at least an overall of 60% (C) average in the major.  Students in the four-year Bachelor of Outdoor Recreation (BOR) degree are required to complete four fourth-year Outdoor Recreation electives and three FCE electives at the second year level or higher.  Students in the four-year BOR degree may not take Outdoor Recreation 3075, 4075, 4011 or 4912.
