An overall 70% average must be maintained in History and Sociology throughout the program.

First Year:
(a) Sociology 1100
(b) History 1100
(c) One FCE from Type A courses
(d) One FCE from Type B courses
(e) One-half FCE from Type E courses
(f) One-half FCE elective

Second Year:
(a) Sociology 2111 and 2911
(b) Two FCEs in History at the second year level
(c) Sociology 2755 or 3818
(d) One-half FCE in Sociology
(e) One FCE elective

Third Year:
(a) Sociology 3312, 3311, 3410, 3411
(b) Two FCEs in History at the third year level
(c) One FCE elective

Fourth Year:
(a) Sociology 4313
(b) Either Sociology 4411 or Sociology 4033
(c) Sociology 4305: Honours Thesis Seminar
(d) Two FCEs in History at the fourth year level
(e) One-half FCE in Sociology at the fourth year level
(f) One-half FCE in either Sociology at the third or fourth year level or in History at the third or fourth year level.

Note: Students will complete the Indigenous Content Requirement by completing one-half FCE elective from Type E courses and Sociology 2755 or Sociology 3818.

Note: Students cannot count more than 7 FCEs of first year courses toward the degree, and cannot take a first year course in the final year of the program.
