Honours Bachelor of Arts (Psychology Major) (TB)

Four Year program

This degree program requires an overall 70% average in Psychology courses. Should this not be attained, students must consult with the Chair of the Department of Psychology.

Students in other Psychology programs seeking to enter the Honours BA program in Psychology must obtain an overall 70% average in the Psychology courses of the preceding years and must consult with the Chair of the Department of Psychology as additional courses may be required.

Students who are contemplating graduate studies or other research activities in Psychology are urged to take Specialized Honours in Psychology

First Year:
(a) Psychology 1100
(b) Two FCEs from Type A courses
(c) One FCE from Type B courses
(d) One FCE electives. A first year Type C or D course is recommended.

Second Year:
(a) Psychology 2110
(b) Psychology 2112
(c) Psychology 2013
(d) Psychology 2014
(e) Psychology 2015
(f) Psychology 2011 OR Psychology 2016
(g) One-half FCE Type E course
(h) One FCE open electives

Four-year Non-Direct Entry program option

Bachelor of Arts (Psychology Major) 4-year

This program option is for Honours students that are academically ineligible to continue in or complete the Honours program.

Honours BA (Psychology) majors may only enter this program with permission of the Chair of the Department of Psychology. This degree program requires an overall 60% average in Psychology courses. Should this not be attained, students must consult with the Chair of the Department of Psychology.

First Year:
(a) Psychology 1100
(b) Two FCEs from Type A courses
(c) One FCE Type B courses
(d) One FCE electives. A first year Type C or D course is recommended.

Second Year:
(a) Psychology 2110
