Honours Bachelor of Science (Specialized Honours in Psychology Major) (TB)

Four Year program

This degree program requires an overall 80% average in Psychology courses. Should this not be attained, students must consult with the Chair of the Department of Psychology.

Students in other Psychology programs seeking to enter the Honours BSc (Specialized Honours in Psychology) program must obtain an overall 80% average in the Psychology courses of the preceding years and must consult with the Chair of the Department of Psychology as additional courses may be required.

First Year:

Students must apply into Psychology 4901 Honours Thesis by November of the year before their thesis year. Students not accepted into Psychology 4901 must enter the HBSc (Psychology) Four Year degree. See Department of Psychology website for more information.

It is recommended that students intending to pursue graduate studies in Psychology complete at least 2.0 FCEs of the following listed courses among their required and elective Psychology courses in their third or fourth year:

Note: The Indigenous Content Requirement is met by the inclusion of one-half FCE chosen from the list of Type E courses.
