Six Year program

Prior to Entry into the 2-Year Professional Program
In concurrent Education programs at the Primary/Junior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering Honours degree program including all Pre-Professional Program Education requirements. (See Concurrent Degree Programs Informationfor Education requirements)

Note: The Indigenous Content Requirement in the Anthropology programs is met by taking Anthropology 1034.

First Year:
(a) Anthropology 1032 and 1034
(b) One-half FCE in Interdisciplinary Studies at the first-year level
(c) One FCE in English, French or Indigenous Language
(d) One FCE in from Type C courses (General Science 1000 recommended) unless area of specialization is in Area II
(e) One half-course in Music or Visual Arts (counts as Area I)
(f) One half-course elective
(g) Education 1050

Second Year:
(a) Anthropology 2110, 2112, 2137, 2151, 2515, 2517
(b) One FCE in Type C courses
(c) One half-course elective
(d) Education 2050

Third Year:
(a) Two FCEs in Anthropology at the third or fourth year level from Type B and/or Type C
(b) One additional FCE in Anthropology at the third year level
(c) One-half FCE in Interdisciplinary Studies at the third-year level
(d) One FCE electives
(e) One half-course Education elective (see Electives in the Department of Undergraduate Studies in Education Courses list)

Fourth Year:
(a) Two FCEs in Anthropology at the fourth year level
(b) One FCE in Anthropology
(c) One FCE in Interdisciplinary Studies at the fourth-year level
