Five Year program

Prior to Entry into the 2-Year Professional Program
In concurrent Education programs at the Primary/Junior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering Bachelor degree program including all Pre-Professional Program Education requirements. (See Concurrent Bachelor Degree Programs Information on Education requirements.)

Note: The Indigenous Content Requirement in the Anthropology programs is met by taking Anthropology 1034.

First Year:
(a) Anthropology 1032 and 1034
(b) One FCE in English, French or Indigenous Language
(c) Two and one-half FCEs from: Biology 1110, 1130, Chemistry 1110, 1130, Geography 1170, Geology 1110, 1130, Mathematics 0210, 1151, 1152, Business 1513, Physics 1211, 1212
(d) Education 1050

Second Year:
(a) Anthropology 2110, 2112, 2137, 2151, 2515, 2517
(b) One half-course FCE in Music or Visual Arts
(c) One FCE elective
(d) Education 2050

Third Year:
(a) Two FCEs in Anthropology from Type C at the third or fourth year level
(b) One FCE in Anthropology
(c) One and one-half FCE electives
(d) One half-course FCE Education elective (see Electives in the Department of Undergraduate Studies in Education Courses list)
