Bachelor of Arts (Mathematics Major)/Bachelor of Education P/J (TB)

Five Year program

Prior to Entry into the 2-Year Professional Program
In concurrent Education programs at the Primary/Junior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering Bachelor degree program including all Pre-Professional Program Education requirements. (See Concurrent Degree Programs Information for Education requirements).

Note: In order to meet the Indigenous Content Requirement students must take one-half FCE from Type E courses as part of their first three years. 

First Year:
(a) Mathematics 1171, 1172, 1271 and 1272
(b) One FCE in English, French or an Indigenous language
(c) One and one-half FCEs from Type B courses
(d) Education 1050

Second Year:
(a) Mathematics 2111, 2131, 2255 and 2275
(b) Two FCE electives from Type A or Type B courses
(c) One-half FCE elective
(d) Education 2050

Third Year
(a) One FCE in Mathematics at the third or fourth year level
(b) One-half FCE in Music or Visual Arts
(c) One-half FCE elective from Type A or Type B courses
(d) One and one-half FCE electives
(e) One FCE from Type C courses, excluding Mathematics (General Science 1000 recommended).
