Anthropology 3551 Aboriginal and Treaty Rights in Canada
Students will learn about the cultural aspects of selected conflicts between the Indigenous peoples of Canada and the federal and provincial governments over Aboriginal and treaty rights, including the roles these rights play in maintaining the integrity of the cultures of the Indigenous peoples of Canada, and the ways in which other-than-Indigenous Canadians see these rights.
