English 3713 Contemporary Canadian Literature
A study of Canadian literature from the 1960s until the present day, featuring a range of genres, such as fiction, non-fiction prose, poetry, songs, drama, graphic novels, and film. Topics to be covered may include Canadian postmodernism, gender and sexuality, urbanization, the relationship between regionalism, nationalism, and globalization, and/or the representation of Canada as an increasingly multicultural nation.
