Education 4203 Curriculum and Instruction in Environmental Science (Intermediate-Senior): Outdoor Ecological and Experiential Education, Part 1
Provides a foundation for the development of pedagogy in Environmental Science and ecological literacy through embodied experience in the Ontario classroom. Focuses on the development of deep connections between the natural world, the nature of science, society and instruction, within the context of the relevant Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum and policy documents. Also includes a critical, experiential, and holistic exploration of outdoor ecological education theory, research, and practice as it applies to teaching and learning at the intermediate/senior level.
