A survey of the social, mental and general health conditions of Indigenous people in association with relevant historical contexts, covering a) an exploration of how to distinguish social, medical and mental health conditions that affect learning from learning disabilities, b) helping tools for educators working with at-risk youth, and for liaising with relevant counselling, social work, mental health and medical professionals on behalf of youth and their families, c) existing support networks available to Indigenous youth and their families within Indigenous communities, and d) literature on Indigenous helping approaches.
