Outdoor Recreation 4920 Professional Experiential Placement
An experiential course that includes an extended and supervised work placement in a field of outdoor recreation, parks and tourism. Students will have an opportunity to develop their professional competencies through applying the theory, principles, and practices gained throughout their program requirements and elective courses, in an approved setting with an external organization. Student assessment will consist of in-class preparation activities, workplace evaluation by the instructor and agency, and a reflective capstone degree project.

Offering: 3-0; 3-0 plus placement (140 hours)
Notes: Students who have previous credit in Outdoor Recreation 4915 or 4916 or 4917 may not take Outdoor Recreation 4920 for credit. May only be taken by 4th year Honours Bachelor of Outdoor Recreation students.
