An examination of theories, patterns and problems in foreign policy decision-making. Attention is given to state and non-state actors in the domestic as well as the external environment. Topics include: theories of decision-making, institutional framework for initiation and execution of foreign policy, instruments of foreign policy, analysis and impact of foreign policy formulations, challenges and prospects.
