Natural Resources Management 3350 Python/ArcPy Programming Language in GIS
An introduction to the Python programming language and its ArcGIS ArcPy module. Students work directly with code as course subjects are covered. Course subjects start with basic Python coding and that knowledge is then used in solving GIS problems either through ArcGIS and its ArcPy module or outside of ArcGIS. GIS related Python coding covers file and table data as well as vector and raster data manipulation, both at the dataset and feature/cell level.
