Health Sciences 5237 Vulnerable Population Health
Students will be introduced to health issues related to vulnerable population in Canada - i.e. persons who, compared to the general population, are at increased risk of developing health problems or having worse outcomes from health problems. Considerations will be given to at risk populations such as: persons with lower income; Aboriginal people; children; older adults; and persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
