Health Sciences 5330 Critical Appraisal
Additional opportunities will be provided to students in developing their critical appraisal skills of the literature. Using a number of published papers, primarily with a focus on Public Health, students will examine the methodological and statistical approaches used and critique the papers. The main objectives will be to develop critical skills, sharpen the students' own methodological expertise, and appraise the literature in a constructive manner to advance science. The students will be expected to read all manuscripts and participate in discussion.
