Students will demonstrate an understanding of a specific area of study in the field of health research. The comprehensive examination can be related to the proposed dissertation area but cannot duplicate its content.

Grade Scheme: Pass/Fail
Notes: Restricted to students in the PhD in Health Sciences program. Note: Students have one opportunity to complete the Comprehensive Examination; it may not be repeated. Students who fail the Comprehensive Examination, or who fail to complete the Comprehensive Examination in the specified time frame for their period of study (i.e., full-time or flexible full-time), will be deemed to have failed the program.
