ACADEMIC NOTES:

Students should register for both fall and winter courses at the same time.

Courses may be held at different times within the published start and end dates; however, students are expected to abide by the published deadline dates, unless otherwise notified. Exceptions to the published start and end dates will be indicated on the Course Timetable.

Education dates are restricted to students in the four- and five-year concurrent Education programs and the one-year Professional program.

In all courses instructors must not give any form of test other than laboratory and drafting tests in the last 5 days of classes without prior approval of the faculty dean. (See also Study Periods.)

In all courses instructors must not give any form of test or assignment during the study period from the end of classes to the beginning of the formal examination period. (NB: performance juries may be held during this time.)

EDUCATION STUDENTS:

Placement Dates  
Fall Term

Winter Term

[NOTE: Includes 2 days for Easter]


FORESTRY STUDENTS:

All Forestry students must be registered prior to the commencement of field school scheduled September 2-10.


GRADUATE STUDENTS:

Graduate Students working on thesis and projects register for four months in Spring/Summer Sessions.


NURSING STUDENTS:

Note withdrawal exceptions for consolidated theory/clinical courses in the School of Nursing, Academic Regulation #11.


SOCIAL WORK STUDENTS:

Should consult the timetable for variations to the normal Summer Session class start and end dates.
