DEPARTMENT OF LIFELONG LEARNING IN EDUCATION

FACULTY MEMBERS

In the Department of Lifelong Learning in Education, teaching and learning are viewed as generic processes that can be found in many contexts beyond the publicly funded classroom. Teaching and learning are a part of everyday life as we strive to create a learning society.

In addition to Additional Qualification courses for teachers, Lifelong Learning offers alternative programs, beyond the regular BEd and MEd routes, that include leadership, adult (general) education (e.g. for parents of school-aged children), ecological and experiential education, training and international opportunities. The Department of Lifelong Learning in Education also creates qality-added learning packages to meet the needs of individuals, groups and organizations. If individuals or organizations have an area of interest that is not currently being served, the Department of Lifelong Learning in Education can assist in developing and delivering courses or programs to assist them in meeting their needs.
