Five Year program
Prior to Entry into the 2-Year Professional Program
In concurrent Education programs at the Primary/Junior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering Bachelor degree program including all Pre-Professional Program Education requirements. (See Concurrent Degree Programs Information for Education requirements)
The student's selection of courses requires the consent of the Chair of the Department of Languages.
First Year:
(a) French 1510 and 1511
(b) French 1200 or 1204
(c) One FCE from Type A courses, excluding courses from the Department of Languages
(d) One FCE from Type B courses
(e) One-half FCE in Music or Visual Arts
(f) Education 1050
Second Year:
(a) French 2101 and 2201
(b) One FCE in French at the second year level
(c) One FCE in Science (General Science 1000 recommended) (see Concurrent Education, Content Regulations #1, regarding eligible Science electives)
(d) One-half FCE elective chosen in consultation with the Department of Languages
(d) Education 2050
Third Year:
(a) French 3201 or 3203
(b) One FCE in French at the third or fourth year level
(b) One FCE from Type B courses
(c) One-half FCE chosen from Type E English courses (English 2510, 2717, 3750, 3751) or French 3650
(d) One FCE electives
(e) One-half FCE elective in Education (see Electives in the Department of Undergraduate Studies in Education Courses list)

Note: The Indigenous Content Requirement is met by taking either one-half FCE from Type E English courses or French 3650.
