Honours Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Women's Studies Majors) (TB)

Four Year program

This degree program requires an overall 70% average in Psychology courses and an overall 70% average in Women’s Studies courses. Should this not be attained, students must consult with the Chairs of the Departments of Psychology and Women’s Studies.

Students in other programs seeking to enter the Honours BA (Psychology and Women’s Studies) program must obtain an overall 70% average in the Psychology and Women’s Studies courses of the preceding years and must consult with the Chairs of the Departments of Psychology and Women's Studies as additional courses may be required

First Year:
(a) Psychology 1100
(b) Women's Studies 1100
(c) One FCE from Type A courses
(d) One FCE from Type A courses (if Women's Studies 1100 is counted as Type B) or one FCE from Type B courses (if Women's Studies 1100 is counted as Type A)
(e) One-half FCE Type E course
(f) One-half FCE elective. A first year Type C or D course is recommended 

Second Year:
(a) One FCE in Women’s Studies Core Courses at the second year level
(b) One FCE in Women's Studies Group 1 courses
(c) Psychology 2110

Third Year:

(c) One-half FCE in Women’s Studies Core Courses at the fourth-year level
(d) One and one-half FCEs Psychology at the third or fourth year level
(e) One and one-half FCEs Psychology at the fourth year level

Students who are contemplating graduate studies or other research activities in Psychology and Women’s Studies are urged to take Specialized Honours in Psychology with Concentration in Women’s Studies. 

Note: The Indigenous Content Requirement is met by the inclusion of one-half FCE chosen from the list of Type E courses.
