Five Year program

Prior to Entry into the 2-Year Professional Program
In concurrent Education programs at the Primary/Junior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering Bachelor degree program including all Pre-Professional Program Education requirements. (See Concurrent Degree Programs Information for Education requirements)

First Year:
(a) Women's Studies 1100
(b) One FCE in English, French, or Indigenous Language
(c) One FCE in Science (General Science 1000 recommended) (see Concurrent Bachelor of Education, Concurrent Content Regulations #1, regarding eligible Science courses)
(d) One FCE from Type B courses
(e) One-half FCE elective (see note)
(f) Education 1050

Note: The Indigenous Content Requirement is met by taking 0.5 FCE chosen from the list of Type E courses. We encourage you to take Women's Studies 2119, when offered.

Second Year:
(a) One FCE in Women's Studies Core Courses at the second-year level
(b) One FCE in Women's Studies Group 1 courses
(c) One FCE in English at the second year level or above
(d) One and one-half FCE electives (see note)
(e) Education 2050

Third Year:
(a) Women's Studies 3030
(b) One and one-half FCEs in Women's Studies Core Courses at the third-year level
(c) One-half FCE in Music or Visual Arts
(d) Two FCE electives (see note)
(e) One-half FCE Education elective (see Electives in the Department of Undergraduate Studies in Education Courses list)
