Education 3011 Introduction to Teaching French as a Second Language (FSL)
Students will develop their knowledge and understanding of French language acquisition and will be introduced to curriculum and pedagogy for teaching French as a second language with a particular focus on language learning. Both written and spoken French competency is a prerequisite; a competency test is also required. A background involving formal education in French programs or schools would be an asset.

Notes: Teacher candidates taking this course will also be required to take FSL part 1 (Additional Qualifications) in order to be qualified to teach in an FSL classroom situation.
