Health Sciences 5012 Perspectives in Ecological Health
Examines the environmental and public health implications of global ecological change. Students will gain an in depth understanding of the interface between ecological and social determinants of health and will be introduced to emerging approaches used to understand and address complex problems such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and the cumulative impacts of resource extraction. The course is designed to foster a collaborative learning environment and to build the skills needed to promote population health and sustainability in a rapidly changing world.
