Provides an overview of the theory and practice of innovation and entrepreneurship, from the perspective of managers within organizations. Covers pertinent elements to starting a new venture, from idea generation to commercialization. Highlights the role of strategy in the management of uncertainty, and the role of innovation in periods of industry disruption. Students will learn a set of conceptual frameworks of entrepreneurship and innovation as tools vital to success within organizations.
