Students will explore current issues related to methodological, theoretical, and practical issues in the field of Gerontology. The course will cover topics such as: research methods and contributions to societal construction of aging; gerontological theories and their influences on research, policy, and practice; and practices that promote choice, inclusion, and independence among older adults.
