Education 5715 Virtual Reality in Education
A critical examination of virtual and augmented reality and their use in education. The rapidly evolving (and competing manifestations) of these technologies is considered as is practical exploration of their application and implementation in the classroom. Emphasis is placed on the implementation of the applications to meet and/or supplement current needs in Education, health implications of the technologies, limitations for learning, and student engagement. Implications for future teaching are also considered.
