Geography 2215 Introduction to Earth Observation and Analysis
An introduction to the acquisition, analysis, and interpretation of geospatial products used to observe the Earth’s surface. Students will gain an understanding of the fundamental concepts associated with image capture, processing, photogrammetric measurements, and interpretation of physical and cultural features. Laboratory experience will include photogrammetry, use of stereo viewing technologies, and analysis software.

Geography 2232 or permission of the Chair of the Department of Geography and the Environment

Notes: Students who have taken Geography 2211 may not take Geography 2215 for credit.
