Use of various artistic forms (novels, films, photography, plays, poems, graphic novels, essays, and theoretical texts) to examine non-normative representations of the body, as well as the social discourse surrounding them. Themes such as hyper-sexualization, gender and sexuality, disability, pregnancy, abortion, illness, and death will be studied.
