Social Work 3215 Social Work Interviewing and Communication Skills I
Provides students with the opportunity to understand and learn preparatory skills of communication and interviewing as part of their emerging social work practice. One's values, attitudes and beliefs as well as an understanding, appreciation and respect for cultural diversity will be emphasized. From an ecological and experiential approach, students will be introduced to exercises on verbal/non-verbal communications, professional relationships, mutuality and social work ethics.
