Sociology 4033 Women and Sociological Theory
A study of the conceptualization of "woman" in sociological theory from the classical mainstream to contemporary feminism. Students will be introduced to a range of current theoretical debates in feminist sociology and examine the relationship of theory and practice in feminist sociological research.
