Chemistry 4412 Cyclotron and Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry
Principles of cyclotron operation and radiopharmaceutical production through in-class and in-lab production and testing of radiolabeled compounds. Students will have the opportunity to operate the cyclotron and learn the design principles and synthetic methods required to create a radiopharmaceutical for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
