A comprehensive introduction to orient college-transfer students to the School of Kinesiology and Lakehead University. Topics of discussion include field-specific material requiring advanced study, e.g., muscle mechanics, physics, biology, and the role of physical activity in health and wellness. Scholarly research, academic writing, documentation and analysis will also be addressed. Emphasis is placed on the transfer student experience.
