Teaching and learning in Education. An introduction to the theories, policies, practices, narratives and current trends in Indigenous education in Canada. Indigenous ways of teaching, learning, knowing and doing will be explored and practiced. Subjects include (and are not limited to) residential schools, Truth & Reconciliation, land-based pedagogy, holism, treaties/treaty rights, contributions and school systems from Indigenous perspectives.
